By Work on the new affordable housing building is moving along rapidly as we look forward to the first tenant families moving in this spring. Interior finishes throughout the apartments are nearing completion and the first floor preschool space is coming along on schedule. The residential space has been transformed with the doors and trim installed and a fresh coat of paint on all walls and ceilings. Lydia’s House is so grateful for the generosity of Organized Living and 15 of their staff for donating all the materials and installation of closets and hardware in the eight apartment units. Christmas in review
Happy New Year! We had a very busy Christmas season here at Lydia’s House and much merriment was had by all. We launched into Christmas with our annual Christmas Party. This year we hosted at the Red Balloon Cafe and Play Space in Pleasant Ridge. It was great to gather with former guests and volunteers to ring in the season! We started the night off with some lively Christmas carol singing and filling our bellies with delicious Mazunte tacos and desserts.
