A Special November Worship Celebration

Last Sunday November 24 we celebrated our monthly worship with a Catholic Mass officiated by Father Jim Schutte of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. The house was warmed with around 50 beloved friends from our community including the special presence of a former guest, her new baby, and members of her family. We were led in song by volunteers from Poco a Poco of Bellarmine Chapel and the talents of our own live-in volunteers Elizabeth and Rachel. Volunteer of the Month: Anne Housholder

Anne Housholder is a Lydia’s House gem. She is present to the guests through House Duty, generous contributions of items sorely needed, and by consistently participating in community dinners and celebrations. Indeed it is a rare week in which Anne has only been around once! We are constantly amazed by the gifts Anne possesses and is gracious enough to share with us. Her creative artistic talent has led way to “crafternoons,” in which Anne spearheads craft projects to help beautify the house.
