Announcing The Virginia Coffey House

We’re so excited to announce that we have a name for our new building. After a long search process that involved input from many parties, we’re naming our new supportive housing after local civil rights leader Virginia Coffey. Virginia was a girl scout leader, teacher, activist for integration of public spaces, mentor to many young women, and the founding head of the Human Relations Commission. We hope her legacy will be honored as our building provides a permanent home to young moms who seek stability for their families. Please join us on March 17 at 4pm as we pray blessings

New Building Update Winter 2019

Work on the new affordable housing building is moving along rapidly as we look forward to the first tenant families moving in this spring. Interior finishes throughout the apartments are nearing completion and the first floor preschool space is coming along on schedule. The residential space has been transformed with the doors and trim installed and a fresh coat of paint on all walls and ceilings.
